Christin Yates is the founder and president of Yates Communications, a Memphis-based strategic communications and public relations firm. For nearly 20 years, she has advised organizations on communications strategy, crisis and reputation management, national media relations, executive communications and thought leadership.

Christin works with companies, agencies and executive teams ranging from emerging businesses and nonprofits to global brands. Her experience spans construction, manufacturing, agriculture and natural resources, financial services, healthcare, education and technology. Whether navigating a high-stakes issue, managing an executive transition, developing a national media strategy or identifying stories that support business objectives, she brings a strategic, newsroom-informed perspective to every engagement.

A native Memphian, Christin began her career at archer>malmo public relations, now Archer. She holds a B.S. in public relations and an M.S. in mass communications from Murray State University. She is also a freelance reporter for The Daily Memphian and has contributed to the publication since its launch in 2018.
